All our kayak courses are instructed by American Canoe Association certified instructors.

Our Classes run ran or shine. If we encounter thunder and lighting we will pull off the water and wait the storm out. We have a covered screen porch at the water.

Course Prices
6-hour course held on the Contoocook River is $100.00 per paddler.

Rentals
If you need to rent a kayak with PFD and paddle add $25.00 to the course price. The instructional kayaks are touring or sea kayaks.

Ratio
Our student to instructor ratio is 6 to 1. The maximum number of paddlers in a course is 12. Once over 6 paddlers, a second kayak instructor will be added to the course.

We require 4 students to run a course.

What to bring to an instructional course:

kayak, paddle, pfd, (if not renting), lunch, water to drink, change of cloths, towel, bug spray, sun block, water shoes, tee shirt (wick away if possible)

If you wear sun or eye glasses or a hat make sure you have them attached to a lanyard.

You will be getting wet so you will want to have a bathing suit on. If you like you can wear a pair shorts and a tee shirt over your bathing suit. wick away material if possible.
