$80 includes three sessions to be held on August 9th, 16th and 23rd.

thought possible — all while enjoying the natural splendor of floating on water.

This 5 hour course includes 2 hours of rolling instruction and 3 hours of rescue instruction. The rolling portion will be held in the Rolf Park Pool in Penacook, NH and the 3 hours of rescue will be held on river at Contoocook River Canoe Company in Concord, NH. Rentals

If you need to rent a kayak with PFD and paddle add $25.00 to the course price. The instructional kayaks are touring or sea kayaks.

Ratio

Our student to instructor ratio is 6 to 1. The maximum number of paddlers in a course is 12. Once over 6 paddlers, a second kayak instructor will be added to the course. We require 4 students to run a course.

Course Gear Checklist:

  • Kayak
  • Paddle
  • PFD / Life Jacket
  • Kayak / Canoe (if you are not renting)
  • Your lunch
  • Water
  • Change of cloths
  • Towel
  • Bug spray
  • Sun block
  • Water shoes
  • Tee shirt (wicking if possible)
  • Sunglasses / Hat with lanyard
  • If you are taking the rolling / Rescue Clinic you need a skirt for you kayak.

You WILL be getting wet so you will want to have a bathing suit on. If you like you can wear a pair shorts and a tee shirt over your bathing suit, wicking materials are best.

Introduction to Stand Up Paddleboarding

Stand Up Paddleboarding continues to be an incredibly popular way to get on the water. We host a SUP 101 courses at our location on the Contoocook River every Thursday during the summer and they're very well attended!

Interested in learning? You're in luck! Give us a call to reserve a spot. 

This class includes 30 minutes of instruction with one additional hour spent applying what you learn during an on-river practice session. It's a great course for the whole family to do together. 

Held every Thursday from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. 

Appointments recommended, drop-ins welcomed but not guaranteed a spot. 

$30 per student includes instruction and equipment (board, paddle and PFD).
